Foreign Affairs and Expatriates // Urgent moves with various international parties to pressure towards stopping the occupation's aggression and crimes The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has been in contact since the early morning hours with various international institutions to stand by their commitments towards the ongoing occupation aggression in Gaza and in the governorates and camps of the northern West Bank. The Ministry instructed all ambassadors, embassies and missions of the State of Palestine to intensify efforts to expose the occupation’s violations to foreign ministries, decision-making centres and public opinion in host countries and various international organisations, with the aim of mobilising the broadest international pressure to stop aggression, genocide and displacement. The Ministry calls on the international community to intervene immediately and effectively to force the Israeli government to stop its aggression. It also calls on the International Red Cross and the relevant UN institutions and councils to assume their responsibility and play their role in protecting our people and their civilian life. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemns in the strongest terms the violations and crimes committed by the occupation against our people, especially the ongoing war of genocide in the Gaza Strip and the targeting of the northern West Bank, which results in more martyrs and wounded, in addition to the widespread destruction and sabotage of infrastructure and property. The Ministry views this escalation with great concern and considers it an extension of the war of extermination and displacement and a blow to the foundations of the steadfastness of the Palestinian citizen in his homeland, especially with regard to targeting the infrastructure and foundations of Palestinian life. The Ministry affirms that the siege of hospitals, the imposition of forced displacement and the evacuation of citizens from their homes are a flagrant violation of international law and international humanitarian law and a war crime.
